Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/f/x)

THE ROLE

For our growing organization, we are seeking an experienced professional to join us as Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/f/x). In this key position, you will be responsible for the proper accounting and preparation of financial statements for four YOC Group entities across the DACH region, while actively driving the further development of our financial processes.

You will act as the central point of contact for all accounting-related matters within the DACH region.


Functional Responsibility

  • Responsibility for the ongoing financial accounting (HGB) of a total of four entities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, in collaboration with a two-person team based in Berlin
  • Independent and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Active involvement in day-to-day operations(not solely a review function), particularly: 
    • General ledger accounting, accounts receivable/payable
    • Provisions and accruals
    • Intercompany reconciliations
    • Detailed account reconciliations
  • Further development and standardization of accounting processes within the DACH region
  • Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities

Project & Optimization Work

  • Participation in and/or leadership of projects (e.g., digitalization, ERP optimization, automation)
  • Support during the annual audit
  • Contribution to the harmonization of accounting standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus
  • Confident handling of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, DATEV or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • High level of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in German and good command of English
